Job description
Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the operational integrity of machinery and equipment, performing routine maintenance and repairs, and troubleshooting to enhance performance. This role demands a proactive approach to maintain safety and efficiency in all systems within the facility.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify issues before they escalate.
- Execute scheduled maintenance tasks and promptly handle emergencies as they arise.
- Document all maintenance activities and repairs accurately for record-keeping and reporting.
- Collaborate with other team members to enhance operational procedures.
- Utilize tools and technologies effectively to conduct diagnostics and repairs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role.
- Technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and manuals.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
