Job description
Job Summary
The Facilities Project Engineer plays a critical role in overseeing the planning and execution of facility projects, ensuring that they adhere to specifications, budgetary constraints, and timelines. This position emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance the efficiency and functionality of facility operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage facility-related projects from inception to completion, including planning, design, and construction phases.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure project alignment with organizational goals.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to inform project decisions.
- Monitor project progress and performance, adjusting plans as necessary to meet objectives.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including timelines, budgets, and reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management, particularly in facilities engineering or construction.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration among diverse teams.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
