Job Summary
The Fermentation Technician plays a pivotal role in the fermentation process within a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for overseeing fermentation operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and maintaining product quality. Technicians will work closely with team members to optimize fermentation conditions and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control fermentation processes, ensuring optimal conditions for production.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of fermentation equipment.
- Document and report fermentation data accurately for compliance and quality assurance.
- Collaborate with team members to improve fermentation techniques and processes.
- Adhere to safety and cleanliness standards in the production area.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent; further education in biology, chemistry, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in fermentation or biotechnology is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specific protocols.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Familiarity with safety guidelines and laboratory practices is beneficial.
