The Fiber Technician plays a crucial role in the installation, organization, and securing of fiber optic cables in live data center settings. This position entails carrying out fiber terminations, splicing, and validation testing, all while strictly adhering to safety protocols and quality assurance standards. Ideal candidates should possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in fiber optics, structured cabling, or within data center environments. Strong skills in interpreting construction drawings and a good understanding of fiber testing tools are essential.
