**Field Service Technician**

**Role Overview:**
This role involves delivering comprehensive service for the installation, maintenance, operation, and quality assurance of dispenser equipment, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and corporate safety protocols. The technician will oversee the functionality of dispenser systems, ensuring their optimal performance. Routine maintenance tasks will be carried out, and the technician will identify maintenance requirements, troubleshoot operational issues, and work towards effective solutions.
**Responsibilities and Qualifications:**
– A minimum of two (2) years of pertinent work experience is required.
– Must possess electrical, plumbing, and mechanical skills, with preference given to those with experience in AC, DC, and pneumatic systems.
– Strong computer literacy and communication skills are essential.
– Act as a brand representative for the Company.
– Certification in forklift operation, Manlift with articulating boom, scissor lifts, and working at heights is preferred; certification can be obtained upon instruction if not currently certified.
– Ability to wear fall protection gear for periods of up to two hours.
– The position involves servicing customers throughout the region, with driving constituting a minimum of 30% of the role; occasional overnight travel may be necessary.
– A minimum of a High School diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience, is required.
– Physical capabilities must include the ability to regularly lift heavy items (up to 75 lbs/34 kg) during equipment installation, climb ladders, and manage hoses, air lines, and electrical cables throughout customer facilities. Extended driving and possible overnight stays away from home until tasks are completed are expected.
– Expected physical duties:
– Walking/standing: 40-80%
– Sitting: 30-50%
– Lifting (up to 70 lbs/31 kg): 30%
– Must be capable of working independently with minimal oversight.
– Demonstrated capacity to tow an 18-foot open-bed trailer that is correctly loaded, strapped, and secured with the necessary tanks and equipment.
