Job Summary
The Field Service Technician II at TDS Telecom plays a vital role in connecting communities through telecommunications. This position is essential in ensuring the reliability and functionality of outside plant facilities and equipment, contributing to the overall customer experience and service quality.
Responsibilities
- Perform splicing and maintenance activities on outside plant facilities and equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to telecommunications services.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and practices.
- Provide exceptional service and support to customers within assigned areas.
Qualifications
- Relevant telecommunications experience is preferred.
- Current or prior military service with an honorable discharge may be considered for qualification.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and technical knowledge in the telecommunications field.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
