The Financial Controller or Finance Lead is an essential role located in Gouverneur, New York, responsible for overseeing the mine site’s financial and accounting operations. This position involves managing financial reporting functions and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, while collaborating closely with departments such as Finance, Procurement, and IT.
Responsibilities
- Direct the accounting and financial reporting activities for the mine site.
- Oversee the month-end closing processes to ensure accurate financial records.
- Support both internal and external audit processes as necessary.
- Manage issues related to tax and transfer pricing compliance.
