Job Summary
The Flight Test Engineer is responsible for the planning, execution, and reporting of both developmental and operational flight testing and evaluation for Group 3 Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). This role includes collaboration with a team of engineers to manage test coordination across multiple regions, including the US, UK, and Europe, while maintaining performance and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute flight test activities for UAS development.
- Report on the outcomes of flight testing and evaluations.
- Collaborate with engineering teams for effective test coordination across various geographical locations.
- Ensure compliance with performance metrics and safety regulations during tests.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in UAS integration and testing.
- Possession of an FAA Part 107 certificate.
- Eligibility to obtain a U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
- Willingness to travel more than 75% of the time.
