Job Summary
The Floor Technician is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the appearance and cleanliness of floors in various facilities. This role involves performing a variety of floor care tasks to ensure a safe and inviting environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular floor cleaning and maintenance operations.
- Perform stripping, waxing, and buffing as required for different floor types.
- Inspect floors for damage and report any issues that need repair.
- Utilize chemical cleaning agents and equipment safely.
- Adhere to all safety protocols while using equipment and handling cleaning materials.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in floor maintenance or related cleaning fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with various flooring types and their maintenance requirements.
- Ability to operate floor care equipment, such as buffers and vacuums.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy equipment if necessary.
