Job description
Job Summary
The Greenhouse Tech is instrumental in ensuring the optimal growth and health of plants through precise management of greenhouse conditions. This role involves monitoring environmental factors and assisting in the cultivation processes to deliver high-quality products.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor temperature, humidity, and light levels within the greenhouse.
- Assist in planting, nurturing, and harvesting crops while ensuring adherence to best agricultural practices.
- Monitor plant health, identifying issues such as pests or diseases, and taking appropriate action.
- Ensure the cleanliness and safety of greenhouse facilities.
- Record data regarding plant growth and environmental conditions for analysis.
- Collaborate with team members to implement cultivation plans and optimize production efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in horticulture or a related field is advantageous.
- Experience working in a greenhouse or agricultural setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of plant care, pest management, and environmental control systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
