The Grocery/Bulk Assistant plays a vital role in aiding the department manager with everyday functions, which encompass inventory oversight, product display, and delivering exceptional customer service. Additionally, this position involves contributing to staff training, overseeing department profitability, and executing critical store opening and closing responsibilities. Applicants are expected to possess a high school diploma or GED, along with a minimum of one year’s experience in a grocery or retail setting. Competence in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to obtain food safety certifications are also necessary.
