Job description
The Group Exercise Instructor is tasked with guiding group fitness sessions, prioritizing the safety of participants, and fostering a sense of community within the YMCA. Additionally, they are required to keep precise records of class attendance, address any equipment problems, and offer encouragement to members. Applicants should be a minimum of 18 years old and possess current certifications in CPR, AED, O2, and First Aid. A high school diploma or equivalent is favored, along with a minimum of 6 months or 60 hours of hands-on experience in leading group exercises.
