Job description
**Center Director**
The Center Director is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, supervising staff, and executing programs at Head Start centers, ensuring adherence to both federal and state regulations. This role emphasizes creating a safe and developmentally suitable learning atmosphere and encourages active parent participation and community engagement. Applicants should have a minimum of an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education and at least two years of supervisory experience. Furthermore, candidates must fulfill state licensing criteria, which includes passing a fingerprint background check and obtaining several health and safety certifications.
