Job Summary
The Head Teller plays a crucial role in facilitating branch operations related to payment and receipt activities. This includes handling tasks such as processing deposits and cashing checks, ensuring that these services are executed efficiently within the branch.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and support the payment and receiving functions of the branch.
- Process customer deposits and cash checks effectively.
- Manage the workflow within the department to maintain efficient operations.
- Provide training and guidance to team members, particularly tellers.
- Assist with various administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience in the banking industry is essential.
