Job Summary
The Hospice Field RN is responsible for providing empathetic, patient-focused care through the management of detailed nursing plans for patients facing life-limiting conditions. This role necessitates collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient comfort, uphold dignity, and offer family support in both home and care environments.
Responsibilities
- Manage and implement nursing care plans for patients with terminal illnesses.
- Work in conjunction with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Support and educate families about the care process and available resources.
- Monitor patient conditions and provide appropriate interventions as necessary.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- CPR certification.
- Valid driver’s license with auto insurance.
- Preferred experience of at least two years in hospice nursing.
