Job Summary
The Housekeeping Aide is responsible for executing everyday cleaning duties in resident rooms, restrooms, and communal areas, ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards. This role requires maintaining detailed documentation of cleaning procedures as well as fostering positive interactions with residents, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine cleaning of individual rooms, bathrooms, and shared spaces while following established safety and sanitation protocols.
- Keep accurate logs of all cleaning activities performed.
- Engage consistently with residents, fellow staff members, and guests in a friendly manner.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory for this role.
- Candidates should be capable of physical activities, including lifting items up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with various cleaning products and their safe application is essential.
