Job Summary
The role involves cleaning and sanitizing various areas within the facility, such as resident rooms, bathrooms, communal spaces, and offices, adhering to safety protocols and established cleaning procedures. The position requires diligent record-keeping of cleaning tasks and proactive reporting of any maintenance or safety issues. Additionally, maintaining positive interactions with residents, staff, and guests is essential.
Responsibilities
- Conduct cleaning and disinfection of resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices following safety and cleaning standards.
- Log completed cleaning tasks and communicate any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Adhere to infection-control guidelines during cleaning procedures.
- Foster positive relationships with residents, staff, and guests.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- Prior experience in housekeeping is desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication skills are necessary to follow directions and interact appropriately.
- Able to perform repetitive tasks and meet physical requirements, including the ability to lift or maneuver weights up to 50 pounds.
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies is required.
- Candidates should reside within the designated service area.
