Job Summary
The Industrial Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing processes through hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment. This position involves working on a rotating shift schedule to maintain productivity and support various production needs within the facility.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
- Identify mechanical issues and perform repairs promptly to minimize downtime.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment and machinery.
- Document all maintenance activities and report findings to management.
- Collaborate with other team members to optimize machine performance and reduce operational disruptions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is preferred.
- Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is highly advantageous.
- Proficient in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
