Job Summary
The Information Technology Specialist plays a crucial role in the installation, upkeep, and support of the organization’s hardware, software, and network systems. This position also entails delivering technical assistance to end-users, handling IT service requests, and maintaining the security and efficiency of all operational systems.
Responsibilities
- Install and manage company hardware and software.
- Support and troubleshoot network infrastructure.
- Provide technical support to end-users.
- Handle IT ticketing and service requests.
- Ensure the security and proper functioning of all systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience with Cisco networking hardware and VoIP systems.
- Strong technical proficiency in LAN/WAN connectivity, patch management, and system administration.
- Relevant industry certifications such as CCNA are preferred.
