The role of Insurance Sales Executive Senior – Commercial P&C is a dynamic, commission-driven position with strong potential for income growth. Candidates should possess exceptional consultative sales abilities, excellent communication skills, and a thorough knowledge of the insurance landscape. To ensure your success from the outset, we offer a robust three-year income transition plan. The ideal applicant will have a track record of successfully pursuing and finalizing sales within the Commercial Property and Casualty sector, focusing on clients with revenue between $50 million and $500 million or more. A comprehensive understanding of all aspects of commercial P&C insurance, including loss sensitive and group captive programs, is essential.
Key Responsibilities of the Insurance Sales Executive:
- Initiate business growth by discovering and fostering new client relationships through both existing and new networks, industry gatherings, and strategic alliances.
- Build and sustain profitable connections with prospects and existing customers.
- Implement a tailored business plan to achieve or surpass your designated annual new business objectives.
- Partner with internal teams to devise strategies for new and recurring business opportunities.
- Forge strong collaborations with banking colleagues within your designated market or industry sectors.
- Conduct thorough research prior to client and prospect meetings to deliver valuable insights and advice.
- Provide mentorship and direction to service and operations teams to enhance their continuous growth.
- Engage actively in sales meetings, client strategy discussions, and corporate events.
- Ensure that all necessary licenses are maintained and complete ongoing education as required.
- Perform any additional tasks as assigned.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Current Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license.
- 7+ years of experience in sales of complex commercial Property & Casualty insurance.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a similar field.
- Additional state insurance licenses advantageous.
- Demonstrated success across various additional insurance lines such as employee benefits, life, and personal lines.
- Experience engaging with C-suite executives and influencers.
- Professional certifications such as CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter), CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor), or ARM (Associate in Risk Management).
- Proficient with middle-market clients ($50M–$500M revenue) and knowledgeable in loss sensitive and group captive insurance programs.
- Involvement with external boards or committees.
- Proven success in business development, encompassing market growth, lead generation, and strategic sales initiatives.
