Job Summary
The Interior Furniture Mover plays a critical role in assisting with the movement and arrangement of furniture within various settings. This position demands physicality and attention to detail, ensuring that items are relocated safely and efficiently while providing an excellent client experience.
Responsibilities
- Carefully disassemble and reassemble furniture as needed for safe transportation.
- Transport and place items in designated areas according to client specifications.
- Operate hand trucks, dollies, and other equipment securely to facilitate movement.
- Ensure that all items are handled with care to prevent damage during relocation.
- Assist in maintaining inventories of furniture and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding job requirements and updates.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in moving or logistics is preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication abilities for effective teamwork.
- Valid driver’s license may be required based on job responsibilities.
