Job Summary
The Inventory Specialist is tasked with the effective management of production materials through receiving, organizing, and kitting processes. This role is crucial for sustaining precise inventory documentation within ERP and MES systems. The specialist will also be involved in conducting cycle counts, overseeing material traceability, and utilizing material-handling equipment to facilitate the manufacturing schedule.
Responsibilities
- Receive and organize production materials.
- Kit production materials as required.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/MES systems.
- Perform regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Manage traceability of materials used in production.
- Operate material-handling equipment efficiently.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory control or warehouse operations.
- Forklift certification is necessary.
- Able to work weekend shifts from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
