Job Summary
The IT Support Specialist role involves delivering practical technical assistance, resolving system issues, and overseeing the maintenance of network computing systems. This position also includes managing IT assets throughout their lifespan and contributing to system administration and the execution of various projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on technical support for IT-related inquiries and concerns.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues effectively.
- Maintain and monitor network computing systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Oversee the lifecycle management of IT assets from acquisition through disposal.
- Assist with system administration tasks as necessary.
- Participate in the implementation of IT projects and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Six months to two years of relevant experience in IT support or a related field.
- Experience in a financial institution is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills and technical knowledge in IT systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively with users and technical staff.
