Job description
Job Summary
The Lab Technician will be responsible for conducting various laboratory tests and experiments, ensuring accurate data collection and analysis while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This position requires adherence to safety protocols and standard laboratory procedures to support research and development activities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory tests and procedures efficiently and accurately.
- Prepare and analyze samples while documenting results meticulously.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure it is in proper working condition.
- Follow safety guidelines and manufacturer instructions to minimize hazards.
- Collaborate with team members to support ongoing research projects.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Laboratory Science or a related field preferred.
- Experience in a laboratory setting is beneficial.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and handling of chemicals.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
