Job Summary
The Lab Testing Technician plays a critical role in conducting tests and analyzing samples within a laboratory environment. This position is essential for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of test results, which contribute to various health and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory tests on samples in accordance with established procedures.
- Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports for review.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure all tools are functioning correctly.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize testing processes.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is preferred.
- Experience working in a laboratory setting is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to follow complex instructions and adhere to protocols.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
