The Laboratory Assistant is responsible for screening, accessioning, and processing patient specimens into the Laboratory Information System while maintaining quality control and safety standards. They also provide customer service to medical staff and ensure the accurate transport and distribution of samples to appropriate laboratories. Candidates must have a high school diploma and excellent computer and communication skills. Prior laboratory or accessioning experience is preferred but not required for this entry-level role.
