Job Summary
The Laboratory Technician plays a critical role in supporting laboratory operations by performing various technical tasks. This position requires conducting tests, analyzing results, and ensuring that laboratory equipment is maintained and calibrated properly. The candidate is expected to adhere to safety protocols and quality standards while assisting in research and development projects.
Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory tests and experiments under the supervision of senior staff.
- Analyze and interpret results to ensure accurate reporting.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and manage inventory of supplies.
- Follow safety guidelines and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Document procedures and results in detail for record-keeping.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience in laboratory techniques and procedures is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with laboratory equipment and software.
