Job Summary
The Laboratory Technician plays a crucial role in assisting with laboratory operations by performing a variety of technical and administrative tasks. This position is responsible for conducting experiments, ensuring equipment functionality, and supporting research initiatives while adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory experiments and analyses following established protocols.
- Maintain and calibrate lab equipment to ensure accurate results.
- Compile and analyze data, reporting findings to senior staff members.
- Assist in preparing samples and conducting routine tests.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all laboratory activities.
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Laboratory Science, Biology, or a related field.
- Experience working in a laboratory setting preferred.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment and safety procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
