Job Summary
The role involves the coordination of workflows within a clinic and Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) by effectively gathering and analyzing patient information. The individual will be responsible for maintaining precise electronic medical records (EMR) and ensuring that clinical staff and providers receive timely updates. This position emphasizes fostering a positive environment, prioritizing patient experiences, and striving for continuous improvement in operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and streamline clinic and ASC workflows by collecting and analyzing patient information.
- Ensure accurate documentation in EMR systems.
- Communicate timely updates to clinical staff and providers.
- Guide and delegate tasks to team members while monitoring patient flow.
- Support an efficient and positive environment focused on enhancing patient experience and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- At least two years of clinical experience.
- Current CMA certification or equivalent work experience is necessary.
- Preferred: Three or more years of experience in urology or gynecology.
- Experience in a high-volume clinical setting.
- Familiarity with EMR systems is advantageous.
