Job Summary
The Lead Consultant in Ports and Marine Civil/Structural Engineering will be an integral member of our team located in Irvine, California. This role focuses on the engineering of maritime structures, offering expertise in construction and inspection processes to enhance port facilities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the design and implementation of civil and structural engineering projects related to ports and marine facilities.
- Conduct thorough inspections and assessments of existing structures to ensure they meet regulatory and safety standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate engineering solutions and optimize functionality.
- Provide expert consultancy to clients regarding best practices in marine engineering and construction.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering accredited by ABET.
- Proven experience in the field of ports and marine engineering, particularly in construction and inspection.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex engineering problems.
- Effective communication skills for articulating technical information to clients and stakeholders.
