Job Summary
The Lead Energy Storage Engineer will be responsible for spearheading the design, development, and integration of innovative energy storage solutions. The position involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that energy storage systems are efficient, reliable, and aligned with the overall energy strategy of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the engineering aspects of energy storage projects throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct technical feasibility studies and contribute to system architecture design.
- Lead efforts in the development of battery systems, including selection and assessment of components.
- Collaborate with project management to ensure timelines and budgets are adhered to.
- Monitor and analyze storage system performance data for continuous improvement.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in energy storage systems, particularly in design and implementation.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to lead complex projects.
- Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and industry standards.
