Job description
**Lead Energy Storage Engineer**
The Lead Energy Storage Engineer will be responsible for conducting technical assessments, reviewing system designs, and performing engineering due diligence for large-scale and distributed battery energy storage initiatives. Additionally, this role will act as the primary internal authority on safety, fire protection, and regulatory compliance, while collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the duration of projects. Candidates must possess a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years focused on battery energy storage systems, and should have a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field. A strong knowledge of industry standards such as NFPA 855 and NEC, along with excellent technical communication and analytical abilities, is essential.
