**Licensed Dispensing Optician**
The Licensed Dispensing Optician delivers a full range of optical and contact lens services, such as interpreting prescriptions, fabricating eyewear, and fitting patients. Additionally, this role involves keeping clinical records up-to-date, overseeing inventory management, and providing guidance and support to unlicensed personnel within the medical facility. Applicants must have an active Washington State Dispensing Optician License and a minimum of one year’s experience in ophthalmic dispensing and sales. A high school diploma or GED is mandatory, along with proficient mathematical, communication, and technical skills associated with optical instruments.
