Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in providing care to patients by managing communication, documentation, and support during medical procedures. This position emphasizes the importance of patient interaction and clinical collaboration to enhance overall healthcare delivery.
Responsibilities
- Triage patient inquiries and concerns effectively.
- Document and maintain clinical information accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Assist physicians in performing in-office procedures and delivering patient care.
- Ensure maintenance of sterile environments to promote patient safety.
- Accumulate and manage patient histories efficiently.
- Coordinate follow-up care and communication with patients within the clinic setting.
Qualifications
- Must possess a graduate degree from an accredited practical nursing program.
- Hold a current and active LPN license in Florida.
- Previous clinical experience in either outpatient or hospital settings is essential.
- Current certification in CPR or BLS is mandatory.
