Job description
**Licensed Practical Nurse**
The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for delivering direct care to patients within a pediatric outpatient setting. This includes responsibilities such as administering vaccinations, collecting blood samples, and conducting point-of-care assessments. The LPN plays a vital role in assisting the healthcare team by accurately documenting patient information, implementing care plans, and ensuring a safe and effective clinical atmosphere. Applicants must have completed an accredited program for Licensed Practical Nursing and possess a current LPN license in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Moreover, a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers is mandatory for this position.
