The LPN contributes to the nursing process by assessing patients and implementing treatment plans under the supervision of an RN. They are responsible for administering medications, performing diagnostic tests, and documenting encounters while maintaining safety protocols in a clinical environment. Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of nursing and hold a current LPN/LVN license in the state of employment. One year of clinic experience is preferred, and the ability to obtain CPR certification is required.
