Job Summary
The Wellness Nurse is responsible for managing resident health evaluations, administering necessary medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams as well as family members to ensure comprehensive care. This role plays a vital part in monitoring the health status of residents, maintaining accurate clinical records, and overseeing non-licensed personnel to foster a safe and resident-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct health assessments for residents.
- Administer prescribed medications to residents.
- Coordinate care with various interdisciplinary teams and family members.
- Monitor and document changes in resident health conditions.
- Ensure clinical documentation is maintained accurately.
- Provide supervision and support to non-licensed staff to promote safety and quality of care.
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Florida.
- CPR/AED certification.
- Preferred: Minimum one year of experience in a senior care or memory care environment.
