Job Summary
The Life Enrichment Coordinator for Activities is responsible for designing, organizing, and implementing engaging recreational programs that enhance the quality of life for residents. This role focuses on fostering a supportive community through meaningful activities tailored to individual and group interests.
Responsibilities
- Create, implement, and assess a diverse range of activities and events that cater to the interests and needs of residents.
- Collaborate with staff and family members to ensure activities are inclusive and enriching.
- Facilitate regular assessments to gauge resident satisfaction and participation levels.
- Maintain up-to-date records of activities, attendance, and resident feedback.
- Provide training and direction to volunteers involved in activity programs.
Qualifications
- Background in Recreation Therapy, Education, or related fields.
- Experience in coordinating events or programs, preferably in a senior living environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging with a diverse resident population.
- Creative mindset with the ability to design enjoyable and interactive activities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to enhance the resident experience.
