Linux Developer
Cleveland, OH – Onsite

$80/HR Linux Developer Overview
We are seeking a Linux Administrator / Developer to support migration to modernized Linux platforms. This role requires strong hands-on Linux administration experience, including kernel management, permissions setup, code compilation, and application support. The ideal candidate will have experience recompiling PERL code and supporting PostgreSQL environments. Linux Developer Responsibilities
- Manage Linux systems, including user/group permissions and security
- Support and maintain Linux kernels
- Compile, package, and deploy code in Linux environments
- Recompile PERL code for platform migration
- Support PostgreSQL databases
- Troubleshoot system and application issues
Linux Developer Qualifications
- Strong Linux administration experience
- Experience with Linux permissions and kernels
- Experience compiling code in Linux environments
- Experience recompiling PERL code
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Linux Certification required
- Azure, C#, and Python experience a plus
