Job Summary
We are searching for a dedicated and skilled Local Medical-Surgical Nurse to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients receiving surgical and medical treatments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and ensuring effective communication with both patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and ensure patient safety throughout medical and surgical procedures.
- Monitor patient vitals and assist in diagnostic tests and evaluations.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and postoperative care.
- Document nursing care and maintain accurate patient records.
Qualifications
- Current nursing license in the state of practice.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred; Associate’s degree acceptable.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a medical-surgical setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
