Operate and maintain shavers and heavy equipment to move, cut, and process logs while keeping production on schedule and monitoring product quality. Maintain an orderly and safe log yard, coordinate with truck drivers, and follow safety procedures and training requirements. A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license are required, along with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and bend, squat, or stoop. Previous mobile equipment or forklift experience is required, while one year of industrial machine operating experience is preferred.
