Logistics Analyst
Location: San Antonio, TX
Pay: $30.00/hour Job Summary
Logistics Analyst will support day-to-day Supply Chain and Production initiatives within a warehouse and plant environment. This role will report to the Supply Chain Engineering Manager and focus heavily on data management, process improvement, material flow, and supply chain analytics. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain operations in a warehouse setting, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and experience working with ERP systems and Microsoft Power BI. This position requires a self-starter who can manage projects, analyze data, present findings to all levels of the organization, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day Supply Chain and Production initiatives, working closely with Supply Chain and Production teams.
- Deploy and maintain Lean Material Flow strategies throughout the plant and supporting warehouse operations.
- Establish and maintain standard work instructions for plant-specific materials team members.
- Own and maintain layouts for Supply Chain-managed warehouse and plant footprints.
- Analyze data for upcoming products and jobs to support supply chain planning and execution.
- Manage new part setup within the warehouse and line-side production areas.
- Define appropriate delivery methods based on forecasts and material requirements.
- Support Material Handling and Receiving teams with supply chain initiatives and process improvements.
- Manage and analyze supply chain data using Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
- Create, develop, and oversee Power BI reports and dashboards to support supply chain decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and assist with implementation of improvement initiatives.
- Lead projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver results.
- Present data, project updates, recommendations, and findings to employees and leadership at all levels.
- Maintain a high level of accountability and ownership for assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in warehouse logistics, material flow, manufacturing, or plant supply chain operations.
- Experience with Lean or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Solid understanding of Supply Chain operations within a warehouse environment.
- Experience with data management and analysis using Excel and business systems.
- ERP administration experience required.
- Experience creating and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Experience leading projects and implementing process improvements.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Power BI.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Ability to effectively present information to employees and leadership at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
