Job Summary
This role involves delivering specialized private-duty nursing support for children and young adults who have intricate medical requirements, all within the comfort of their home environment. The position emphasizes enhancing the patients’ well-being, ensuring their safety, and fostering their personal development, while simultaneously establishing reliable and trusting connections with their families.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized nursing care tailored to the specific needs of each patient.
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and support throughout their daily activities.
- Develop strong relationships with patients and their families to promote a collaborative care environment.
- Monitor and assess patients’ health status and any changes in their condition.
- Educate families on care needs and support the overall wellbeing of the patient.
Qualifications
- An active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license is mandatory.
- A demonstrated passion for providing patient-centered care.
- Pediatric nursing experience is advantageous, but not compulsory as training will be provided.
