Job Summary
The position of Machine Operator is essential for ensuring the efficient operation of finishing machines in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role involves setting up and managing machinery, as well as addressing any technical issues that may arise. The Operator Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining consistent production flow on either the 1st or 2nd shift.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate finishing machines to prepare for production runs.
- Act as the first point of contact for resolving machine-related problems.
- Contribute to the seamless operation of the production line in a high-energy manufacturing setting.
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality output.
Qualifications
- Experience in operating machinery in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting and work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work either 1st or 2nd shift as needed.
