The Machine Operator plays a key role in the loading and unloading of materials, as well as the setup and operation of different fabricating machines. This position also requires carrying out preventative maintenance tasks. A part of the responsibilities includes reading blueprints, resolving technical issues, and ensuring precise record-keeping for work orders. Candidates should have a minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing setting, particularly with fabricating equipment. A high school diploma or GED is necessary, alongside the capability to read a tape measure and execute basic mathematical conversions.
