The Machine Operator I plays a crucial role in configuring and running a range of fabrication equipment, including lasers, punches, and brakes, to cut, shape, and bend metal parts. The operator is also tasked with interpreting technical blueprints, conducting routine preventative maintenance, and upholding product quality standards. Applicants should possess a minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing setting and be familiar with operating fabrication machinery. A high school diploma or GED is mandatory, as well as the capability to read a tape measure and execute mathematical conversions.
