Job Summary
The Machine Shop Helper plays a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency of manufacturing and assembly processes. This position involves maintaining a tidy work area and providing support to staff engaged in production activities. The individual will also be tasked with machining products as per specified blueprints, ensuring adherence to AS9100 quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
- Assist production personnel in various tasks to streamline operations.
- Machine parts and products following provided blueprints accurately.
- Ensure that all work complies with AS9100 quality standards.
- Interpret and work from blueprints to complete projects.
- Conduct basic quality reporting and checks on finished products.
- Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
- Entry-level proficiency in operating manual machines and using hand tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and documents.
- Basic understanding of quality reporting processes.
- Physical capability to lift weights up to 50 pounds.
