Job Summary
The Maintenance Lead plays a critical role in minimizing maintenance and breakdown losses within the packaging department, while overseeing the workflow of hourly employees. This position serves as a bridge between the operational and maintenance teams, ensuring that daily production objectives are met efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Oversee maintenance activities to prevent and resolve breakdowns in the packaging area.
- Coordinate the efforts of hourly staff to maintain production continuity.
- Facilitate communication between operational and maintenance groups to optimize performance.
- Implement strategies aimed at eliminating maintenance-related losses.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plant Engineering, or comparable experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in asset care or engineering management.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Proven leadership abilities.
