Job Summary
The Maintenance Lead plays a crucial role in overseeing the maintenance operations within a facility. This position is responsible for ensuring that all equipment and machinery operate efficiently, minimizing downtime, and upholding safety protocols. The individual in this role will coordinate maintenance activities and lead a team of technicians to achieve maintenance goals effectively.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential issues.
- Lead and mentor the maintenance team, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to maintenance operations.
- Manage inventory of maintenance parts and supplies to maintain operational readiness.
- Collaborate with other departments to plan and schedule maintenance without disrupting operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in maintenance management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to problem solve and make decisions effectively under pressure.
- Strong communication skills to interact with various stakeholders.
- Familiarity with maintenance management software and tools.
