Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for executing a variety of maintenance activities to ensure optimal functioning of equipment and machinery within the facility. Key duties involve general repairs, preventive maintenance tasks, and supporting safety protocols while contributing to special projects.
Responsibilities
- Conduct general maintenance tasks including repairing air leaks and lubricating machinery.
- Assist with preventive maintenance efforts for production equipment.
- Support safety initiatives throughout the facility.
- Engage in special projects such as relocating machinery and installing facility equipment.
Qualifications
- Possession of a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance or completion of a technical degree.
- A valid driver’s license is essential.
- The capability to lift weights up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces is necessary.
